Our Story
Paints and Brushes Events was born from a deeply personal journey one rooted in healing, self-discovery, and the quiet power of creativity. During a challenging period marked by a mental health breakdown, I found myself searching for a way to process emotions that words alone could not fully express. Through painting, I discovered a gentle yet powerful release. What began as simply putting color onto paper became a safe space to reflect, express, and reconnect with myself. In that process, I learned something profound: healing does not always have to be loud or rushed it can be quiet, creative, and deeply personal. This realization became the foundation of Paints and Brushes Events. Today, the initiative has grown into a supportive space dedicated to helping others especially women navigate their emotional and mental wellbeing. As an Art Therapy Wellness Specialist, I facilitate sessions that provide safe, reflective environments where individuals and groups can explore their inner world, express their experiences, and begin their own journey toward healing and self-awareness through art.
